The worst is now behind us for Piero Pelù and he says he is ready to return to the stage. The rocker reappeared on social media with a post in which he announced to fans that he had finally overcome all the obstacles that had forced him into inactivity so far. Among these also a form of depression, which arose after he was diagnosed with a serious hearing problem. Now Pelù says he already has a new musical project in the works, a prelude to his return in style to the world of music.
«Hello everyone, 10 months ago I wrote to you that I had suffered a strong acoustic shock in the recording studio and that I was forced to postpone my tour altogether… – writes Pelù – In this period I have fought depression and only thanks to the Goddess of music I got out of it, I pulled out my nails, my teeth, spat out my soul, wrote new and very urgent things and developed other ideas that had remained closed in my boundless archive”.
In the post Pelù publishes a handwritten sheet with the message addressed to the fans: «While I am writing to you I have finished producing this new sound journey which will reach you very soon and in many forms, in fact in this long period away from you I have taken photos and video that I will show you as soon as possible. I really want to be back among you with these new songs that I’m particularly attached to and with the tour which will be more engaging than ever. I missed you, see you soon Guys!”.
