A special evening with the film-event that tells the story and mission of Nicolò Govoni, founder of “Still I Rise”, the humanitarian organization founded in 2018 by Nicolò Govoni to bring excellent education to refugee and vulnerable children in the world whose goal is to put an end to the global school crisis, is the proposal of the Fronte del Porto Filmclub of Padua in via SM Assunta, 20 curated by the Veneto Padova Spettacoli association.

The screening of the docu-film “School of life – when school changes your life” by Giuseppe Marco Albano is scheduled for Wednesday 14 January 2026 at 8.30 pm. The film tells through exclusive images from refugee camps in Kenya and Colombia and the authentic voices of children how education can become an act of salvation and change. The documentary features activist and writer Nicolò Govoni and his project to resolve the global school crisis by emancipating the most discriminated against, poor and vulnerable children through a cutting-edge educational model that aims to provide excellent, free education to all the children of the world.

Nicolò describes the activity which, with passion and determination, saw him intervene in particularly deprived areas of the world to give a future to children who seemed unable to have one. International Schools are institutions that provide free, high-level education to girls and boys who come from often disastrous social and family situations. A virtuous path that describes how marginalization can lead to excellence. Representatives of the non-profit organization Still I Rise will be present in the room.
