THE FALL GUY: PLOT AND CAST
Hollywood. Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) is one of the best Stuntman professionals, usual stand-in for the unbearable and temperamental star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). Colt is in love – reciprocated – with the beautiful assistant director Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt). Some time later the man receives a phone call from the famous producer Gail Meyer (Hannah Waddingham), who suggests he return to the set. The film is Jody’s first directorial action sci-fi to shoot in Sydney, Australia. The comedy action push towards the absurd, the paradox, the most playful irrealism. The Fall Guy it almost seems like a cartoon with real actors. As in a cartoonwith every fall, bump, sinking, i characters (almost) always get back up… A few scratches and the action can start again even tighter than before. As a cartoon he knows how to make us laugh (almost) at every gag scene.
