Fresh from the global success of Fallout, the director, producer and screenwriter Jonathan Nolan spoke about the possibility of a new film sequel to the famous one Dark Knight trilogy starring Christian Bale.
While James Gunn is developing his Batman: The Brave & The Bold, which will be separate from Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman saga and which will see a new Batman inserted into the narrative continuity of James Gunn’s Superman, apparently Jonathan Nolan is very interested in a hypothetical Batman 4, which would see the screenwriter’s return to the narrative universe created together with his brother Christopher Nolan through the films Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. “Wouldn’t it be a dream? If I had the chance to work with Batman again I would take it immediately, it would be an honor. I absolutely would“.
Unfortunately the chances of witnessing the birth of a Batman 4 by the Nolan brothers are remote to say the least, if not non-existent, although for fans, both those of Fallout and those of Batman, it would certainly be a dream project: after all, perhaps not everyone knows that the most famous phrase of the Dark Knight trilogy it was created by Jonathan Nolan himself.
