These will join the other cast members from previous chapters such as Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Morgan Freeman, who will respectively reprise the roles of the card magician J. Daniel Atlas, the mentalist Merritt McKinney and the treacherous ex-magician Thaddeus Bradley. It is currently unclear whether Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan, or Mark Ruffalo will be part of the new film.

The details of the plot of Now You See Me 3 are still kept under lock and key, but from the first rumors that have emerged it seems that we will see the Four Horsemen again dealing with a new generation of magicians and illusionists.

The new film will be directed by Ruben Fleischeralready working for Sony on the recent adaptations of Uncharted And Venom. The screenplay was instead edited by Michael Leslierecently whose credits also include Macbeth And Assassin’s Creed, Eric Warren Singer And Seth Grahame-Smith.

Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman will serve as producers, while Meredith Wieck and Erin Jones-Wesley will oversee the project on behalf of Lionsgate. According to what has emerged, the filming of the film should begin during 2024.

Now You See Me 2, the latest installment of the franchise to hit the big screens in 2016, showed us the Four Horsemen and Dylan (Ruffalo) being welcomed into the elite group of wizards known as The Eye, who use magic to steal rich people to give to poor. The film topped the global box office with a total earnings of $269 million; the first chapter, released in 2013, reached the considerable sum of 352 million collected all over the world.
