Next August 2024 will mark the debut in cinemas of M. Night Shyamalan’s new film, Trap. Meanwhile, on the Internet fans have begun to build their own theories on the plot twist that could upset the narrative by imagining that the new work could be the new chapter of the universe that began with Unbreakable.
After sharing the trailer for Trap, let’s get back to dealing with the new feature film by Shyamalan to talk about the public’s reaction after the publication of the first promotional material and the idea that the new film could become part of a larger story, intertwining with the director’s other works.

According to a theory reported on social media, the little girl protagonist of Trap she could be some sort of vampire with Josh Hartnett somehow forced to kidnap and kill men in order to feed his daughter.
According to other users, who do not necessarily insert the new film into the world of Unbreakable, the reversal of the story could instead simply consist in the revelation that the daughter is the real Butcher, with Josh Hartnett’s character who could be a simple accomplice determined to do anything to defend it.
