Henry Cavill chose the Highlander remake as the new chapter in his career after saying goodbye to Superman it’s at The Witcherand in a new interview the actor promised that his fans will be able to admire more complex swordplay than those of Geralt of Rivia.
The actor, who will very soon be seen alongside Alan Ritchson in Guy Ritchie’s action The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and in the film In the Gray with Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter was able to preview some details on the Highlander remake of Lionsgatefor which Henry Cavill is currently training to play the immortal Scottish hero.
“I’m a big lover of original films, for better or for worse. This project interested me a lot because, despite being a fan, while I was reading the script I couldn’t understand how the story would evolve, which surprised me a lot. The team’s goal is to delve deeper into the meaning of these characters, their stories and their challenges. To the fans I want to say that if they think of having seen me work well with the sword before, they haven’t seen anything yet.“
