Fantastic 4 is getting closer and closer, and amid continuous rumors and incessant indiscretions one of the protagonists, Joseph Quinnbroke his silence on the project and his performance during a new promotional interview.

Guest at Facts Comic-Con in Belgium, the Stranger Things actor, who we will see again in November in the cast of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2, shared his enthusiasm for the Marvel Studios project, which will be directed by the director of WandaVision and Monarch : Legacy of the Monsters Matt Shakman and whose filming begins in August: when asked if he could reveal his preparation work for the part of Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Joseph Quinn proved he had a ready joke by joking: “Of course, I’ll set myself on fire every day between now and the start of filming!“.

We remember that, in addition to Quinn, the cast of Fantastic 4 have been officially confirmed Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, The Last of Us) as Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning) as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka The Thing. Earlier this week, news broke that Julia Garner (Ozark) was cast as a female version of the Silver Surfer, Shalla-Bal.

Plot details are still a mystery, but a recent rumor claims that Fantastic Four will be set in an alternate universe which will have a retro-futuristic 60s look: this detail may have also been confirmed by the new official poster of Fantastic 4, dedicated to the Human Torch.
