We presume that Ridley Scott has finally managed to return home, given that in these hours the marketing campaign seems to have officially begun The gladiator 2.
In fact, just a few hours before the start of CinemaCon, CinePOP arrived the first photo of the Gladiator 2 logowhich can be seen in the post available at the bottom of the article: the presentation setup of the film during the event includes, in addition to three statues that replicate the works of the Roman era, also an attached shield that acts as a sort of poster for the film also including a logo for the film, stylized as Gladiator II: Inside, you can clearly read the phrase “What we do in life echoes in eternity”, a famous line by Russell Crowe in the original film.
After Napoleon, Ridley Scott returned to ancient Rome and directed Gladiator 2 from a screenplay by David Scarpa. Connie Nielsen (Lucilla) and Derek Jacobi (Gracco) will return from the first film together with Djimon Hounsou, all in their original roles alongside the new entries: the protagonist Paul Mescal in the role of Lucio Verocharacter played by Spencer Treat Clark in the 2000 film. The cast also includes Joseph Quinn, Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Fred Hechinger and May Calamawy.
