In fact, in these hours Disney+ has released the teaser trailer for Descendants: The Rise of Redthe new chapter of the successful saga Descendants, which features the teenage children of iconic Disney heroes and villains: the Disney Original film will debut Friday 12 July streaming exclusively on Disney+.
The teaser introduces Kylie Cantrall as Redprincess of the hostile kingdom of Wonderland and newcomer among the children of Auradon’s villains, who is caught “red-handed” by Malia Baker, who plays Chloe, the daughter of Cinderella and King Charming. Descendants: The Rise of Red follows Kingd, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe, the perfectionist daughter of Cinderella: when the tyrannical Queen of Hearts organizes a coup against Auradon, Red and Chloe, two diametrically opposed personalities, they must join forces and travel back in time to undo the shocking event that set Red’s mother on the path to evil.
Faithful to the tradition of Descendants, with stories accompanied by music, this fourth chapter includes seven new original songs, two reprises and a cover of “So This Is Love” from the classic animated film Cinderella, which will engage viewers and take them on an emotional journey alongside courageous new characters. Furthermore, we also point out that the original soundtrack “Descendants: The Rise of Red Original Soundtrack” will be released on July 12th by Walt Disney Records.
