The Perugia 1416 event opens with a round table dedicated to Ciaramicola, which kicks off on 13 June at 5.30 pm in the Sala dei Notari spaces with the preview of the ninth edition.
This is a free entry event organized in collaboration with the Italian Academy of Cuisine which, with its delegate Giuliana Piadoro, will explain how, as part of the activity aimed at safeguarding and enhancing the Italian gastronomic tradition, similarly to what has been done in 1999 for the Torcolo di San Costanzo, last April he wanted to codify, with a notarial deed, the ingredients and characteristics of Ciaramicola, another sweet identifying the city.
At the end of the round table, precisely at 7.15 pm, in Piazzetta Santo Stefano on Via dei Priori, the show “Scenes of medieval life” will be staged by the Sant’Andrea theater group from the magnificent Porta Santa Susanna district, with the participation of the company of medieval dance from Peroscia. Shortly afterwards the taverns will open in the Carducci gardens and in via del Cortone 45.
