The accident occurred along the slopes of Mount Garitta Nuova, above Pian Munè di Paesana, at about 2000 meters above sea level. Immediate intervention by the Alpine Rescue and the “118”, intervened with the helicopter rescue, in the area of ​​Lake Luset. The man was rescued in good condition. The alarm was raised just before 1 pm by the two companions of the overwhelmed man who simultaneously began the search with the Artva they were equipped with. The air ambulance of the Regional Air Rescue Service was sent to the scene, which had just left a patient at the Pinerolo hospital and headed to the scene of the accident.
