The premises of the Pace complex in via Inghilterra “in a state of abandonment”, comes the protest of the Grosseto Democratic Party. The Circolo Pace of the Democratic Party group of the capital has collected the report of a citizen on the “very serious state of degradation of the premises in the complex in via Inghilterra. Drug dealing and consumption – they say from the Democratic Party – vandalism and filth make the use of those spaces increasingly difficult and expensive by the inhabitants, associations and private individuals who could use them”.
“These premises, owned by the municipality and built years ago by more farsighted administrations than the one currently led by Vivarelli Colonna – continues the Democratic Party – were designed to promote social, cultural and recreational activities, a safe meeting place for young and old, activities that would help improve the quality of life in the neighborhood and beyond. The current state of abandonment in which the Municipality leaves that vast building complex is instead one of the many causes that have brought our city further and further down the quality of life rankings that are published every year by national newspapers. The Pace complex is an indispensable asset to the community and must be safeguarded with redevelopment interventions and projects that give new impetus to many initiatives”.
