The agreement reached
Apparently, in fact, in the last few hours Forza Italia has reached an agreement between the party and the council group. An agreement which, as anticipated in recent days, would include the revocation of the councilor for Public Works Gianluca Fourth and of the Councillor for Economic Planning and Public Education Ernestina Sicily. In their place, they would become part of the executive Cosimo Elmoformer councilor for public works in the two Mennitti administrations, and Catherine Cozzolinowhich was supposed to enter into arrived already at the beginning of the term but had stepped back at the last moment. The councilor for the Budget and Participated Companies remains in office, however Livia Antonucciwhose delegation is certainly the least sought after of all, considering the economic difficulties of the Municipality, in a state of pre-bankruptcy, and of the Multi-service Toast.
The Brothers of Italy knot
The only knot to be untied, at this point, seems to be the one relating to Brothers of Italy. On the one hand, in fact, three out of five city councilors are asking for the revocation of the deputy mayor Massimiliano Oggianowith responsibility for Urban Planning, and the Councillor for Social Services Antonio Pisanelli. The group leader Lucia Advantaged and the colleague, also city commissioner, Caesar Mevoli did not sign the infamous “document of the 19”, signed instead by councilors Mario Borromeo, Jacopo Sticchi and Raffaele De Maria. The party, with the provincial president Louis Caroliclarified that without a formal revocation of the councilors by the mayor, there is no reason to provide new names, hoping among other things that we continue with the same administration.
The other allies
And, paradoxically, the “veto” on the councilor for Productive Activities seems to come from the Brothers of Italy Luciano Loiaconoin the quota of the House of Moderates. According to some exponents of FdI, it would be up to the Moderates insert the fourth woman into the council. But the movement has made it clear on several occasions that have no intention to replace its own assessor. Thus, the task of respecting the gender quotas could fall to FdI, which in fact could focus on an external onein addition – it is said – to the city commissioner Mevoli. But it could also affect the League or the civic Marchionna Mayor. For the party of the deputy prime minister Salvini, there has long been talk of the rotation between Lidia PentaSports Councillor, and the group leader and deputy provincial secretary Hercules Saponaro. In this way, Penta would enter the Council by surrogate as the first of the non-elected. Provided that Saponaro does not choose to leave space for another woman. Otherwise, he would be the group leader of the civic Marchionna Mayor Theodore Scarano having to give up entry into the council in place of the environmental councillor Antonio Brunoto leave room for a woman. Who, however, would be the second one made available from the list, considering that the Councilor for Litigation Daniela Jerseyswhose permanence in the government team seems to have been questioned by no one, comes from the same civic list.
Surrogacies and voting on Bms
The possible surrogates could make the difference in the choice. In fact, if Scarano were to enter the council, the Council would enter Lorenzo Guadalupicandidate in the civic Marchionna Mayor in share Action. The same movement that “dumped” councilor Maglie with the entire administration in recent days. Guadalupi, therefore, would hardly be able to support the center-right majority in the chamber, especially on the rescue of the Multi-service. As the first of the non-elected members of FdI could do Annamaria Magrìconsidered very close to Oggiano. The industrial restructuring and recovery plan of Bms will be brought to the municipal council next July 12th in the first call or, in the second call, on July 16. Not before a passage in the conference of the group leaders, scheduled for next Thursday, pending the opinion of the board of auditors and the necessary passage in the governance committee of the subsidiaries.
