The review continues “On the Naviglio…stories, theatre, dance, music, poetry, cinema” curated by the LOFT APS association and with the support of the Municipality of Parma, the Monteparma Foundation, the Sirio Social Cooperative, Chiesi Farmaceutici, the Proges Social Cooperative, Oiki and Sipi.

Opening the third week of events, as always with free admission, will be the Ubu Mario Perrotta Award winner who on Monday 1st July, at 9:30 pm, will bring to the stage in the stage space of Officine on/off, in Strada Naviglio Alto, the show “In nome del padre”, written by Perrotta himself with the dramaturgy consultancy of psychoanalyst Massimo Recalcati. With this theatrical work, Perrotta reflects on the paternal figure, on parental crisis, on family dynamics and on all those questions that modern fathers ask themselves to face “the most difficult job in the world”.

The evening of Tuesday 2nd July will instead be dedicated to poetry and two performance previews. After the aperitif, as always organized by the Bar Glenda, starting at 7.00 pm, the first appointment of the cycle “Verses on the Naviglio“, edited by Adriano Engelbrecht, some conversations on poetry and the most recent editorial news; on this occasion, the scholar Silvia Manzi will dialogue with the poets Eleonora Conti, Valentina Furlotti, Maria Pia Quintavalla and Emanuela Rizzo.

Following, at 10.00 pmthe public will be accompanied inside the Naviglio Park to attend the poetic/musical performance, “Attempt at jealousy“, with Franca Tragni and music by Patrizia Mattioli, taken from the text of allegories by the Russian poet Marina Cvetaeva; the evening will end at 10.30pm with the preview/study of the project of Elisa Cuppinichoreographer and actress, entitled “I don’t know how to stay” (directed by Carlo Ferrari and with music by Yalica Jo), a physical theatre piece that aims to reflect on the meaning of the word “stop”.

The cabaret of David ZilliItalian teacher and singer-songwriter, will be the protagonist on Wednesday July 3, at 9.30 pm. In the show/concert “The Indecent Teacher. School Songs, Literature & Other Obscenities” – which will also feature the participation of actors Fabrizio Croci, Elisa Cuppini, Adriano Engelbrecht, Francesca Grisenti, Sandra Soncini and Franca Tragni – Zilli will tell and sing, in his personal, brilliant, shrewd and cultured style, the splendors and miseries of the world of education. read the rest of the article»

Dance and auteur cinema will finally be at the centre of the programme Thursday, July 4th. After the usual aperitif from 7pm, the evening will begin at 8.30pm with the performance “Cicli” with Silvia Di Stazio and Teresa Morisano who will dance a choreography on the cyclical nature of existence, between birth, life and death; two first studies will follow, “Derma – come pelle anteriore” by and with Camilla Grandolfo, a danced investigation on the ability to grow by symbolically changing one’s skin, and “Riflesse” by and with Elisa Cuppini and Agnese Scotti, an exploration, through movement, of one’s own identity and the reciprocity of the gaze. At the end of the evening at 9.30 pm, finally, there will be the screening of the famous film by Mario Monicelli “Speriamo che sia femminile”organized by the Association of Friends of the San Leonardo Library, an event presented as part of the “Il Cinemino” festival organized by the Municipality of Parma.
