On July 5th, starting at 3:30 p.m., an interesting conference will be held in the Aula Magna of the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Catania (Corso Italia n.55) on the impact of regulations in the insurance sector for operators and consumers and on what changes in the Civil Liability of Cars. The meeting is organized by the Provincial Section of the SNA (National Union of Insurance Agents) and thanks to the fruitful commitment of Giuseppe Giardinella and Salvo Lisi, leading figures of the aforementioned Union.
In this context, the contents of Legislative Decree no. 184 of 22 November 2023, which implements the European Union Directive 2021/2118 of the European Parliament and of the Council issued on 24 November 2021, are explored in depth. At the beginning, greetings are expected from Roberto Cellini, Professor of the University of Catania, Enrico Trantino, Mayor of Catania and Salvo Andò, President of the Nuovo Mezzogiorno Foundation. Immediately afterwards, Maurizio Caserta, Professor of Political Economy at the University of Catania, introduces the works while Claudio Demozzi, National President of SNA, Antonio De Pascalis, Head of the Research Service of IVASS (Institute for the Supervision of Insurance), Marco Festelli, President of Confconsumatori, Umberto Guidoni, co-director general of ANIA (National Association of Insurance Companies) and Salvo Pogliese, Senator of the Republic, intervene on the topics of the day. The meeting will be moderated by Brunella Russo, Professor at the University of Messina.
