Emilia-Romagna football is fast and to reward virtuous clubs the leaders choose the Ferrari Museum, which has always been synonymous with class, elegance and speed. In the splendid Convention Hall in Maranello, “The great evening of the clubs” is staged, reserved for the winning clubs of all the championships and regional amateur cups (from Excellence to Third category through Under 19 and Under 18), five-a-side football and women’s football. Present for Piacenza, in addition to the Provincial Delegate Angelo Gardella and his deputy Giancarlo Bernazzani, also the representatives of San Lazzaro Farnesiana, Gotico Garibaldina, Ziano, Virtus Piacenza and Caorso.

An intense afternoon that saw the spotlight on clubs and managers described by the regional president Simone Alberici, number one of Figc and Lnd, as “crazy heroes”. The reason is immediately clear: “We carry on the sport for passion, playing a social and aggregating role. Days like today showcase clubs that win championships after having faced problems related to floods or companies capable of carrying on a football discourse in towns of 800 inhabitants. This is why I say that we are crazy heroes”. A reference to the national team could not be missed, just eliminated from the European Championships but above all with few young people to focus on. “We believe that the abolition of the constraint will lead to an increase in costs in the amateur sector for the parents of the youth team kids. We would like a reward system that allows investments to be made to clubs that work with kids, aiming for greater development in amateur clubs that today have become a sort of company with ongoing responsibilities. Institutions should remember that we are the ones who play a fundamental social role.”

The postponement of the rule on sports constraints, made official by the Government a few days after it came into force on July 1st and transferred to July 2025, has also caused quite a few problems. “There will be organizational difficulties; the information system of the National Amateur League was already structured for the release of players; we were ready, unfortunately this rule arrived late and our systems will be blocked until July 4th to allow all previous situations to be restored. We hope it will not affect the work of the clubs too much, we will lend a hand with webinars and telephone assistance to our clubs”.

On the day of celebration, hosted by Alberici and journalist Giuseppe Indelicato, a sold-out room saw the presence of the top management of Crer Figc Lnd: in addition to the number one of the regional movement, also the Deputy and Vicar Giacomo Fantazzini and the Deputy Vincenzo Credi, who also spoke as a member of the Ferrari Museum Council. The Regional Councilors Giuliano Gandolfi and Rebecca Bottoni and the Provincial Delegates Angelo Gardella (Piacenza), Nicola Baisi (Modena), Michele Gallo (Bologna), Davide Zuccatelli (Ferrara), Johannes Donati (Ravenna), Daniele Lambertini (Forlì Cesena) and Sergio Franco (Rimini) sat in the audience, who then went up on stage for the awards ceremony. The Secretary Andrea Fazio and the member Andrea Cavazzini spoke for the Parma Delegation. Also in the room were the Assembly Delegates Gianfilippo Rossi and Lorenzo Bongiovanni. For Aiac, Massimo Buratti, President of Aiac Romagna, Ruggero Ricci, President of Aiac Emilia, Candido Farneti, National Councillor of Aiac, and Franco Capucci, Representative of Aiac in the Regional Council of Figc Lnd, were present, while for the regional Coni, President Andrea Dondi spoke and for the Youth School Sector, Regional Coordinator Massimiliano Rizzello.
