Ancona – Chaos still reigns around US Ancona. After the rejection of registration in Serie C, the hopes of the Doric team have been placed entirely in Serie D. No concrete offers have arrived for the tender published by the Municipality on its website, obtained thanks to powers given to it by the Football Federation, which expired today, Monday 1 July at 9:00 despite the expression of interest in registering the team in Lega Pro by some subjects. “Partial availability”, this is what the staff of the mayor Daniele Silvetti said. To register in Serie D there is time until July 4, the date on which the necessary 400 thousand euros should also be paid. The most likely idea is that of building a consortium.

US Ancona, however, is moving on two fronts: Tony Tiong has sold the club to the Campania entrepreneur Francesco Agnello. The latter seems to be working to sort out everything, liquidate the debts, but also plan the corporate structure of the red and whites. Agnello could be ready to write a check to secure admission to Lega Pro, but the mayor of Ancona continues to proceed in other ways, in fact there is no dialogue between the two.
