THE AWARDS OF THE LOVE FILM FESTIVAL – PERUGIA 27-30 JUNE – TENTH EDITION

The tenth edition of the Love Film Festival, the first film festival in Italy focused on the theme of love, directed by Daniel Corvi (Perugia 27-30 June).

A prestigious group of directors, actresses and actors, national and international producers participated in the competition that awards the Golden Griffin to the best national and international productions.

Best Genre Film “Leonardo Servadio” to the actor and director Marco Bocci for the film Hunting.

Best Interpreter “Marcello Mastroianni” to the actress Laura Chiatti for the film Hunting by Marco Bocci

Best Directorial Debut “Vittorio De Sica” to Brando De Sica for the film Mimi – The Prince of Darkness.

Best screenplay “San Francesco” for the film Encounter Love di Chen Fei.

Best documentary “Rossi dealership” a Monstrously Village by Valeria Parisi.

Best Actress in a Film/TV Series “Pietro Vannucci” to the actress Laura Morante for Crazy in love – Alda Merini by Roberto Faenza.

Special “Aldo Capitini” award to the actress Claudia Gerini for the book If I close my eyes. Life, loves and passions of a pragmatic dreamer.

Best short film “CS Cinema” a Due by Matteo De Liberato.

Special mention “Roberta Balducci” for the short film Thanks Lina by Yari Gugliucci.

Special Health Award “Don Mario Stefanoni” for the short film All the time in the world by Daniele Barbiero.

Best short actor “Walter Chiari” to Enzo Miccio for All the time in the world by Daniele Barbiero.

The festival, dedicated to the theme of “passion”, had the actress as its godmother Elisabetta Pellini and during the edition hosted on stage: Pupi and Antonio Avati, Daniele Barbiero, Marco Bocci, Chen Fei, Laura Chiatti, Giancarlo Commare, Brando De Sica, Matteo De Liberato, Gianluigi Di Napoli, Claudia Gerini, Yari Gugliucci, Alessandro Guida, Paola Jacobbi, Enzo Miccio, Laura Morante, Gianmarco Saurino, Jerzy Skolimowski, Eileen Tasca, Elisabetta Villaggio.

«It was a magnificent tenth anniversary, both for the talents present and for the participation of the public, and staying on topic, there was a lot of passion for cinema» commented the artistic director Daniele Corvi. «Now we look to the eleventh edition, thanking from the bottom of our hearts all the partners who supported us and the new mayor Vittoria Ferdinandi who sent us her warmest wishes, also remembering the outgoing mayor, who in these years has always been close to the festival. In a historical period like the current one, love for the city, for one’s country and for others is perhaps the theme on which everyone should reflect».

And again: «Personally I had a lot of fun with Claudia Gerinia force of nature always ready to joke, who had a strong empathy with the audience, which I particularly appreciated Brando De Sicawhich will present his debut film, Mimi – The Prince of Darkness, wanted to pay homage to the De Sica grandparents and the Verdone grandparents, in a generational connection with the families who made the history of Italian cinema. I appreciated Laura Morante his intelligence, culture and class, and the screenings of the beautiful film Eoin the presence of the producer Eileen Tascaand the documentary Monstrously Village with the daughter of the great Paolo, Elizabeth Village and the screenwriter Paola Jacobi. The projection of Masculine plural Of Alessandro Guida It was a great success among the very young thanks to the friendliness of the interpreters Saurino e Commare. The meeting with Pupi and Antonio Avati it was perhaps the most heartfelt moment for the city, for the involvement of the film Dante, with the Umbrian Cinema Professions Association.
