Parma, 1 July 2024 – Parma Calcio announces that the friendly match against Galatasaray SK It’s scheduled for Saturday July 27th at 7:30 pm in Linz, in Upper Austria. This match is officially part of the “Summer Series Upper Austria”, organized by LASK in their stadium: the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz (Upper Austria).

Another international match for the team of Fabio Pecchia, to best prepare for his next debut in Serie A and not leave out even the slightest detail. This time, later Lugano e Antwerpit will be the turn of the Galatasarayreigning Turkish champion (has won the last two consecutive championships), coached by Okan Bad: in his squad list there are stars of the first magnitude, talented champions, who will make the commitment very competitive. A match not to be missed, which evokes pleasant memories to the yellow and blue fans with the previous double in the group stage of the Champions League 1997/1998It ended 1-1 in Türkiye, while at the Tardini Parma won 2-0.
Furthermore, this match will be played in a wonderful and modern stadium: the Raiffeisen Arena of Linz. The new stadium was inaugurated in February 2023, replacing the previous one called Linzer Stadion (built in 1952). Today it is the home of LASK Linz, it has 19,080 seats (like the year the Club was founded, 1908) and is a stadium classified as UEFA category 4, thus being able to host international matches.
