Since 17 June in Pomezia the distribution of the new waste collection kitsnecessary for the introduction of new method of separate waste collectionwhich will leave from October 2024.
The new waste collection method in the Municipality of Pomezia will start when all users are in possession of the new equipment dedicated to separate waste collection. The company will manage the service TeknoServicethe company that won the new contract.
To provide citizens with the new kits, TeknoService has organized demonstrations distribution counters of the planned equipment and information material for the correct carrying out of separate waste collection according to the new methods in place from October 2024.
The distribution calendar of the new waste collection kits in Pomezia
The distribution days are aimed at all users resident in the Municipality of Pomezia and regularly registered in the register OFFICE.
WHEN
Distribution of the new equipment began on June 17 and will continue until September 20, 2024.
ATTENTION! In the days of Tuesday 2 July and Tuesday 9 July the service will be suspended for mandatory training of distribution personnel.
The distribution schedule for the new waste collection kits is based on the‘initial of the surname of the TARI holder.
The order to be respected is the following:
- from June 17th to July 20th all users whose surname initial is 1000 will have to go to the info points from letter A to Gincluding;
- from July 22nd to August 17th all users having as initial from the letter H to the letter Phe understood
- from August 19th to September 20th all surnames starting with from the letter Q to Zincluding.
DOVE
The Infopoints where distribution will take place are as follows:
- for users residing in Pomezia: Infopoint set up in the car park adjacent to theecological island of via Cincinnato;
- for users residing in Torvaianica: Infopoint set up at the ecological island of via Las Vegas.
HOURS
The opening hours are the same for both Infopoints, in Pomezia and Torvaianica:
- Monday to Friday 9am-1pm and 2pm-5.30pm;
- Saturday 9am-1pm.
WHAT TO BRING
To distribution the Tari holder must present himself equipped with health insurance card.
If you are unable to do so, you can to delegate another person by filling out the appropriate delegation form which can be downloaded from the website www.teknoserviceitalia.com. In addition to the completed and signed form, you will also need a copy of the delegating person’s health card.

COLLECTION OF THE NEW KIT IS MANDATORY
Please remember that the collection of the kit is obligatory. The current bins present in the area will be progressively removed.
I old bins they can be returned at the distribution infopoints or, if this is not possible, they will be collected at the end of the distribution.
How the new waste collection service will work in Pomezia
Il new door-to-door waste collection service managed by Teknoservice will change modality from October 2024.
From October in Pomezia this service will be carried out using the following equipment:
- 40 l tubs for the collection of residual dry waste, plastic/cans (multi-material), wet waste, paper and glass fractions for domestic users residing in single dwellings. The complete kit of bins and information material will be delivered at the distribution.
- Common wheeled bins for the collection of residual dry waste, plastic/cans (multi-material), wet waste, paper and glass fractions for domestic users residing in condominiums (from 5 housing units and up). Only the sink for the collection of organic waste and the information material will be delivered to the distribution. The trolleys will instead be delivered to the home by the company.
The introduction of punctual pricing
The distribution of the new equipment, in addition to renewing the containers used by citizens, also takes place with a view to the future activation of the TARIP punctual pricing.
The new system is introduced in line with European Community Directives aimed at rewarding those who pollute less by producing smaller quantities of undifferentiated waste and improving the quality of separate waste collection.
All containers delivered to users are supplied with TAG RFIDand barcode associated with the individual user family through which it will be possible track waste production. By measuring the number of exposure of the containers, in particular that of the undifferentiated waste, the individual production of waste will be obtained.
FROM OCTOBER ONLY NEW CONTAINERS MUST BE DISPLAYED
For this reason it is essential to only use new equipment and expose containers for collection only when completely full.
When the whole territory will be equipped with the new equipment, the old bins will no longer be emptied.
Anyone who wants can already bring the old containers to the Infopoint when collecting the new ones, otherwise Teknoservice will collect the old equipment later.
