The CUB Monza Brianza union invites workers to participate in the “Brianza for Palestine” demonstration scheduled for Saturday 6 July 2024 in Piazza Castello (track 7 side) in Monza.

The event was announced in recent weeks by Foa Boccaccio who wrote on its social channels:
“For the past 10 months the State of Israel has been massacring the Palestinian population of Gaza: it is not a war, it is a genocide. For over 76 years the Palestinian people have been living first-hand a colonial occupation made up of expropriation of territories, demolition of houses , apartheid, ban on access to primary resources, abuses, military violence and indiscriminate arrests even of children. Even before October 7, 80% of the population of Gaza relied on humanitarian assistance , teaches us that every oppressed people fights for their own liberation, but for the press and mainstream media, the Palestinian armed resistance has always been considered terrorism and our solidarity is considered anti-Semitism”.
In a long post, Foa Boccaccio had explained in detail the reasons behind the procession planned for the weekend:
“For all these reasons and after months of solidarity initiatives throughout the Brianza area – concluded Foa Boccaccio – we feel the urgency of converging on a large united demonstration in Monza, a procession that will cross the city to launch an even stronger message of support to those in Palestine who daily resist the occupation and oppression of the Zionist Israeli state”.
