Three years after his farewell, goalkeeper Voltan returns to wear the white and blue jersey of Padova. Below is the company’s press release:

“Calcio Padova announces that the transfer of the 2001-born goalkeeper has been formalized Michele Voltage. Voltan has signed a contract with Padova until June 30, 2026.

Michele Voltan was born in Piove di Sacco on 20 September 2001 and is a 194 cm tall goalkeeper.

Having grown up in football in the Vigontina youth sector, in July 2018 he moved to Campodarsego in Serie D: he defended the posts for the red and whites 9 times in the 2018/2019 season and 18 times in the 2019/2020 season. He was purchased by Calcio Padova in the 2020/2021 season in Lega Pro, with Andrea Mandorlini on the bench he became the reserve for Marco Vannucchi and Davide Merelli: Padova finished in 1st place together with Perugia, but was forced to play the playoffs lost in the final against Alexandria. The following season he moved to Union CS Clodiense in Serie D, moving to Montebelluna in the January transfer window and finishing the season with 11 appearances which earned him a call from Luparense. With the Wolves he played 26 championship matches and 2 playoff matches. In the 2023/2024 season he moved to Virtus Verona in the Lega Pro, where he played 5 matches, one of which against Padova (1-1), taking over from Sheikh Sibi in the 62nd minute and denying the Biancoscudati the lead goal several times.”
