New entry in Apu’s house: the company announces the purchase of Francesco Stefanelli. The DS Andrea Gracis presents him as a “player with personality and a winning mentality who has always been in top teams and has immediately shown a great desire to be part of this group”.

Born in San Miniato (in the province of Pisa) on January 21, 1995, a guard of 191 centimeters and 88 kilograms, Stefanelli arrives in Udine after a season played in Verona.

Raised in the youth sector of San Miniato, Stefanelli made his debut in the Serie B championship in the 2013-2014 season with the Castelfiorentino shirt. The debut in Serie A2 comes with Tortona after winning Serie C in San Miniato. For the new Juventus addition, 30 appearances in Piedmont with over 5 points on average. Stefanelli, who shared the court in Tortona together with Mirza Alibegovic, won the MVP award of the LNP Italian Cup in 2018 by scoring 19 points in the final against Ravenna. In the summer of 2018 the transfer to Biella arrived, before the two-year experience at NPC Rieti. In the summer of 2021 comes the move to Cantù, where he plays for two seasons with Matteo Da Ros. In his first year Stefanelli reached the promotion finals averaging 11 points.
