Michele Voltage returns to Padua. The goalkeeper born in 2001, after his experience at Virtus Verona, signed an agreement until June ’26. Our anticipation is therefore confirmed. Here is the official press release:
Calcio Padova announces that the transfer of the 2001-born goalkeeper has been formalized Michele Voltage. Voltan has signed a contract with Padova until June 30, 2026. Michele Voltage was born in Piove di Sacco on September 20, 2001 and is a 194 cm goalkeeper. Raised as a footballer in the youth sector of Vigontina, in July 2018 he moved to Campodarsego in Serie D: he defended the goalposts of the red and whites 9 times in the 2018/2019 season and 18 in the 2019/2020 season. He was purchased by Calcio Padova in the 2020/2021 season in Lega Pro, with Andrea Mandorlini on the bench he became the reserve of Marco Vannucchi and Davide Merelli: Padova reached 1st place together with Perugia, but was forced to play the playoffs lost in the final against Alessandria. The following season he moved to Union CS Clodiense in Serie D, moving in the January market to Montebelluna and finishing the season with 11 appearances which earned him a call from Luparense. With the wolves he played 26 championship matches and 2 playoff games. In the 2023/2024 season he moved to Virtus Verona in Lega Pro, where he played 5 games, one of which against Padova (1-1) coming on for Sheikh Sibi in the 62nd minute and repeatedly denying the Biancoscudati the lead goal.
