Perugia, 1 July 2024

On the Perugia-Bettolle motorway junction, Anas has completed the replacement of the old central traffic divider (new jersey) for a stretch of approximately 3 km between Olmo and Madonna Alta. The old barrier has been replaced with a newly designed one, 1.2 meters high, which significantly raises road safety standards and is able to contain any collisions with a very small displacement, even in the event of heavy vehicles skidding.

Upon completion of the intervention, the pavement will now be renovated with the creation of draining asphalt, which – together with the redevelopment of the hydraulic works already carried out – will significantly improve road safety in case of rain.

Also in this case the work will take place exclusively during the nightper ten nights starting from tonight, Monday 1st July, from 8.30pm to 6.30am of the following day with the exception of Saturday and Sunday nights.

To allow the activities to be carried out it will be the roadway towards Ponte San Giovanni is closed from the junction of Corciano at the junction of High Madonnaincluding the closure of the junctions of Elm tree e Horseshoe towards Ponte San Giovanni.
