Furthermore, a reinforcement of ventilation is expected from the north-western quadrants, with greater effects on Sardinia, Sicily and the extreme southern regions, associated with a general drop in temperatures.

The notice provides from early hours of tomorrow strong to gale-force north-westerly winds over Sicily, extending to Calabria, in particular the areas of the Strait of Sicily and the Ionian sectors, with storm surges along the exposed coasts. Based on the expected and ongoing phenomena, a yellow alert has been assessed for tomorrow, Tuesday 2 July, Veneto, part of Tuscany and Umbria, the entire territory of Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Puglia, Basificata and part of Calabria.
