The circulation of trains on the historic line Naples – Salerno (via Torre Annunziata Centrale) will be suspended from 4 July to 1 September between the stations of Naples San Giovanni-Barra and Torre Annunziata Centrale/Castellamare di Stabia and in the periods from 4 to 5 July and from 28 to 29 August also between the stations of Torre Annunziata Centrale and Nocera Inferiore.
All for extraordinary maintenance works and infrastructural upgrading.
Therefore, some trains Frecciarossa, Trenitalia Regional and metropolitan trains will be subject to deviations, limitations and/or cancellations of routes.
In particular:
- Frecciarossa trains between Rome and Pompei will be limited to Napoli Centrale and will be replaced, on the Naples-Pompei route, by Freccialink bus services in connection with Frecciarossa at Napoli Afragola station;
- some Trenitalia Regional and metropolitan trains will be diverted to alternative or limited routes in the stations of Naples San Giovanni-Barra, Torre Annunziata Centrale, Nocera Inferiore. Bus service arranged on the interrupted routes.
The seats available on the buses in circulation, which will increase their travel times also in relation to road traffic, may be lower than the normal service offered.
It is therefore advisable to consider replanning your trip.
Freccialink Napoli Afragola – Pompei and vice versa can be purchased exclusively in connection with Frecciarossa trains.
