Motor liability insurance in Perugia has increased by 7%, while in Terni the increase is around 9% in a year
In Umbria the price of motor liability insurance recorded a national leap of 7.8% on an annual basis with an average price of 391 euros.
According to the estimate made by the Institute for Insurance Supervision, the increase, compared to the previous year, exceeded 7 percent in Perugia and was slightly more marked in Terni, which reached 9%.
A price race that seems unstoppable despite the fact that, according to Aci-Istat estimates, road accidents have decreased by 1%.
The rise in car insurance, which began almost a year and a half ago with no signs of slowing down, has caused the average price to insure a four-wheel vehicle to skyrocket.
Going deeper into the data collected, there is also an internal distinction between the rates paid in the province of Perugia and those paid in the province of Terni. At provincial level, in fact, it emerged that last month the highest average premium in the region was paid in Perugia, i.e. 498.57 euros. The situation is different, with a lower value, in the province of Terni, where the average premium recorded in April was 447.87 euros. Therefore, to insure a car in Terni, an average outlay of over 400 euros is required.
