The regional weather forecast for the afternoon and evening of today, Monday 1st July, is for widespread and frequent precipitation, including showers and thunderstorms, starting from the mountain areas, moving towards the plains, in whose southern areas it could persist also in the early hours of tomorrow, Tuesday 2nd. Locally intense thunderstorms will be possible (heavy showers, strong gusts, local hailstorms).

In light of the forecasts, the Decentralized Functional Center of the Civil Protection of Veneto has issued a warning of hydraulic and hydrogeological criticality valid from 2:00 pm today, Monday 1 July 2024 and valid until 2:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday 2 July. In detail, the operational phase of Attention (yellow alert) has been declared for hydraulic criticality in the Vene-C, Vene-D and Vene-E basins, due to the persistence of sustained hydrometric levels along the Adige river. In particular, in the Vene-D and Vene-E areas, the operational phase of attention concerns the specific problems that affect the embankment body along the stretch downstream of Boara Pisani.

The operational phase of Attention (yellow alert) has also been declared due to hydrogeological criticality due to thunderstorms, valid until 6am tomorrow Tuesday 2nd, throughout the entire regional territory.
