In a summer full of musical events, the Tropico concert in Naples celebrates a talented Italian singer-songwriter and his long career.
The evening event took place on June 28 in the special setting of Plebiscite Squarewhere Davide Petrella (Tropico) was able to sing his greatest hits, including songs from the latest album “Call me when the magic ends”. The show did not include special effects, but only voice and band.
The singer-songwriter is today one of the most popular authors of Italian music since most of the hits of recent years bear his signature and he was able to give his fans two and a half hours of music live. The most important thing is that for the first time he duetted with the artists for whom he wrote the songs.
In fact, Tropico brought some friends with him on stage. The first to sing with him is Elisa on We loved each other so much and the two managed to create an emotional vocal performance.
They then performed Expensive with Casa Mia e Marco Mengoni. The latter made the square explode with his Due Vite, written with Tropico himself. Also on stage was Franco 126to which it was added Achilles Laurowith which Tropico sang the famous Rolls Royce.
The concert in Naples represented an important recognition for Tropico, a boy who started from the bottom, as he himself says, and who with great commitment was able to conquer the hearts of the Neapolitans, who reciprocated with passion.
There are those who have followed him since his beginnings with the group The stripesbut there is no shortage of students and entire families who have embraced this modern and never banal pop.
With a post on Instagram Tropico then wanted to share his emotion and thank the public present at the Neapolitan stage of the Tropico Tour 2024.
“15 thousand times thank you Naples. Forever yours. I would never have imagined 15 thousand people at one of my concerts until recently. We are building, together. How beautiful. For us this is history.
Making things rise from the bottom, with my people. Priceless. I love you”.
