Up to now the progress of MEDII Manfredi (Hungary) in the Over 40 European Championship which is being held at the “Belle Vue” Sports Center has been almost perfect. Coach Massimo D’andria comments on this in view of Tuesday’s direct clash with Ma.El.: “Our team was created to win. It’s a shame for the two points lost against Digida in which we were condemned by a referee’s defection. We would be talking about something else. I am very happy with the team I have at my disposal given that before being players they are revealing themselves to be men.”
TOWARDS DIRECT CLASH: “On Tuesday evening we will challenge the second class Ma.El. a team that has only two points less than us. We have already met them in other tournaments and I can confirm that they are good and organised. In the meantime, we are preparing well for the match, knowing that by winning we would be five points ahead and securing the final victory.”
EUROPEAN OVER 40: “They are all very good teams: only the last one in the standings is behind and is having some difficulties. Every team is tough like Digida. Very balanced championship”.
