First consequences of the wave of bad weather that is hitting our region. In Cogne, after a landslide in Teuf, the mayor ordered the closure of the road to Valnontey. The road to Lillaz and the regional road downstream from the town of Epinel are also closed, another debris flow was recorded afterwards.
The population is invited to “not travel on municipal roads”.

In the afternoon, around 90 millimeters of rain fell in the town in six hours.

At least a dozen interventions were carried out between Champoluc and Verrès for some floods. In Ayas a torrent overflowed in the hamlet of Magnéazdue to a blocked pipe. The municipal administration is intervening on site.

Fire brigade interventions in the municipality of Issogne

In just under 2 hours, approximately 25 emergency calls were handled and processed by the Fire Brigade operations room operators.
