The Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Cisterna Castletogether with the DDA of Napleshave recently concluded an important operation aimed at combating drug trafficking Acerradismantling two criminal groups known as “Dirett” and “Pintonio”.
Arrest of 11 people linked to drug dealing
The operation involved a large contingent of military personnel and led to the arrest of 11 individuals, including leaders and affiliates, accused of criminal association for the purpose of selling narcotics. Investigations conducted between June 2022 and April 2023 highlighted the distribution of cocaine and crack carried out by the two groups, both on a large scale and at retail.

The “Pintonio” group and the activities in the Madonnelle district
The second group, however, was led by Pasquale Tedesco and operated in the neighborhood drug dealing square Madonnelle. His affiliates, primarily responsible for selling cocaine, included Anthony And Antonino Terracciano , Vincenzo Corno And Nicola Carolla who were also responsible for delivering the drugs directly to people’s homes.
Blitz against drug dealing in Acerra
The recent operation represents a significant blow against drug trafficking Acerra. It is the third intervention conducted by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Cisterna Castle in the last year to combat drug dealing in the city.
