Foligno (PG) is ready to host the 3rd and 4th round of the Azzurro Motorally championship…

Which includes 317 riders from all over Italy for the off road event created ad hoc by the Moto club of the same name. The competitive competition on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June will be preceded by the classic appointment with the administrative and technical checks on Friday starting from 2.30pm while at dusk on the same day, the awards ceremony dedicated to the first 2 CIMR tests and the 1st Raid TT test.

As regards the routes created by the host motorcycle club, the riders will compete on Saturday with a total route of 206 kilometers containing 2 in-line tests of 25 and 24 kilometers respectively while the assistance will be at the municipal sports facilities where the paddock is located in Foligno. On Sunday, the drivers’ departure is scheduled for 7.30 am sharp with a total route of 199 kilometers interspersed with 2 selective sectors of 28 and 23 kilometres.

As far as the current sports news is concerned, Thomas Marini, bimota standard bearer, stands tall after the first 2 races of the Italian motorally championship, with 35 points in his pocket, who will also try on this occasion to give his all on the routes traced by Agostino Bordoni and Daniele Pelletti which will mostly develop at altitude. In 2nd position of the CIMR championship we find Leonardo Tonelli riding a GASGAS 450 with 27 points tied with Tommaso Montanari, Fantic standard bearer, and Paolo Degiacomi Africa Dream Racing riding a Sherco 300. With 26 points in the bag the name of the new purchase bounces back Beta Dirt Racing Andrea Gava riding Beta 480. The rest of the current top ten, which could easily overturn today’s sporting situation, is made up of: Pietro Degiacomi, Maurizio Gerini Team Solarys, Alex Salvini riding Fantic 310 2T, Jacopo Cerutti for Guareschi Corse riding Tuareg 660 and Filippo Grimani fresh winner of the 3rd act of the Master Beta enduro riding Beta 430.

Immediately after these top 10 riders there are undoubtedly other names who can detach times and close selective sectors from protagonists such as: Andrea Rocchi, Matteo Drusiani CF Racing riding a Yamaha Ténéré 700, Marco Menichini, Alessandro Botturi CF Racing, Matteo Manenti bimota Matteo Luison NSM standard bearer, Roberto Rossini with bimota 450, the Enduro world champion Antoine Meo with Ducati 900, Carlo Cabini RS Moto with Honda 250, Francesco Muratori NSM and Filippo Pietri riding Kove 450 for the Solarys team.

The pink category sees Jasmin Riccius dominate with 45 points tied with Raffaella Cabini RS MOTO riding a Honda 250 while Simona Brenz Verca, Alessia Pozzo, Patricia Gonzalez, Elisa Gallorini, Giulia Varisco, Gina A Giro, Benedicte Tavernier stand out next and Elisa Carnovali.

For now, the 50cc class gives reason to Federico Salucci, followed by Fabio Pozzoni, while in the eighth of a liter class, Andrea Sassoli, Beta Dirt Racing standard bearer, will defend his record in the off road arena and will be attacked by Fabio Mauri and Gilberto Cantori, for now his most direct opponents.

Brawl also guaranteed in the 250 class with Pietro Degiacomi strong of his 50 points who will be attacked by Carlo Cabini and Nicolò Ferraris while dominating in the 300 we find Paolo Degiacomi, flagship driver of the Africa Dream Racing team, who will have to escape the attacks of Alessandro De Vecchi and Matteo Berti. The Regina D-450 class returns to appreciate the duel between Thomas Marini, Tommaso Montanari and Leonardo Tonelli and a long line of aspiring leading actors.

Andrea Gava signed both victories in the first 2 rounds of the Tricolore Motorally Championship, scoring 50 points in the E 600 class. The following speakers in Foligno will question the record of the Beta Dirt Racing driver: Matteo Luison NSM, Andrea Rocchi riding a Husqvarna 510 , Luigi Martelozzo with Sherco 500, Edoardo Cavicchi, Maurizio Martinelli. For the Marathon class Federico De Angelis will defend his leadership, while in the FX RALLY class Filippo Pietri will try to defend his lead from the attacks of Giovanni Gritti and Mirko Pavan and Jacopo Cerutti will do the same, leader of the G 1000 class with the belligerent intentions of Matteo Drusiani and Alessandro Botturi. Also making a strong statement in the same category will be Francesco Montanari riding an Aprilia 660, Gioele Meoni, Iarno D’Orsogna and Antoine Meo. For the sports class, Nicola Coltri has maintained the lead to date.

Moving on to the GPX championship, Riccardo Taddei on his KTM 890 will try to hold onto the lead while constantly keeping his guard up from the attacks of Antonio Polidoro with the Ducati 937 and Paolo Pettinari with the Aprilia 660.
