Sinnai, Made in Italy spirits: silver medal to the Poscia company with Gallura Vermentino Grappa

A company with deep roots, first Venetian and then Sardinian, with stops on the island, first in the Oristano area, then in Selargius and Sinnai. The “Poscia” company was awarded the silver medal at the 41st national “Alambicco d’oro” competition, recognized as an authoritative showcase for the evaluation of high-grade Made in Italy distillates.

An event that gave space to the excellence of already known or emerging Italian distilleries. A nice recognition for Ugo Poscia and his two children, Giulia and Luigi, who together are carrying on a long tradition in the sector with products resulting from a meticulous selection of the best raw materials from the Sardinian territory.

The “Eredi Poscia” company won silver with its sweet Grappa Vermentino di Gallura. «A great satisfaction for us – say the Poscias – a recognition that rewards the commitment and dedication of our company for four generations. For us it was important to be there to represent Sardinia in comparison with other national producers of spirits from Piedmont, Veneto and many other Italian regions.”

The history of this company has been going on for 102 years. It began in Veneto on the initiative of the entrepreneur Luigi Poscia. It is precisely in the Veneto that the technical capabilities of distillation were developed. In 1965 the family moved to Sardinia with all the energy and skills acquired in the field of distillation, carrying on the tradition and developing the production of various liqueurs, through a selection of raw materials strictly from the Sardinian territory.
