25.06.2024 – 12.26 – There FVG Orchestra brings to the stage The happy widowthe most famous operetta in the world, in the form of a stage concert for an exciting summer evening on the hill of the Udine Castle. Appointment for Sunday June 30th at 9.30pm with “I’ll tell you… the Merry Widow!”: 118 years after its debut at the Theater An der Wien in Vienna in 1905, the story revolves around the love affair of the rich heiress Hanna Glawary and her eternal suitor, Count Dànilo Danilowitsch: a romantic affair not without its humorous moments sealed by the extraordinary music of the great Hungarian composer Franz Lehár. On stage the FVG Orchestra conducted by Master Romulus Chalk with the voices of Selma PasternakAndrew BinettiGualtiero GiorginiIlaria ZanettiFilippo Pina CastiglioniAlexei Colautti and Marzia Postognaand with the dancers Noemi Gaggi and Lara Cozzolino.
Directed by Andrea Binetti, the show sees the main characters of the operetta on stage, who will lead the audience into the story set in a nocturnal Paris where there are intrigues between couples, frivolous women and stupid men, a humanity that reflects the decadence of the world aristocratic. All bathed in champagne and enlivened by the famous and captivating can-can dance. The concert is organized by Bon Foundation within the review Harmonies in the City. In case of bad weather, the show will move to Palamostre Theatre. Tickets can be purchased on the Vivaticket circuit or at the theater box office.
