If there are no new twists, Catanzaro will be his new home to replace Vincenzo Vivarini, for a Giallorossi revolution that has characterized these last few weeks, after a change also in the sporting direction, with the farewell of Giuseppe Magalini. Initially Alberto Aquilani seemed destined for Fiorentina, his first love. A long courtship that began when the Nerazzurri were approaching the final days of the season and a love that was never denied on the part of the coach. However, the Viola ultimately chose Raffaele Palladino and the coach also left by mutual agreement with the Nerazzurri club, negotiating for a consensual separation, which officially arrived in recent days. In the meantime, Aquilani had also negotiated with other companies. In fact, white smoke came from Frosinone, with which there had been contact, as well as from Salerno. Even in Serie A the coach was linked first to Cagliari and then to Verona, but there were never advanced negotiations.
Meanwhile Aquilani has also refused a destination. In fact, news came from Reggio Emilia of the coach’s great refusal to take over as Reggiana coach, with the Emilian club having turned elsewhere. Now the coach seems to be able to settle at Catanzaro, after having been one of the most talked about on the benches of half of Serie B and also part of the lower Serie A.
