The Archaeological Park of Ercolano remodels its offer with new subscriptions

Starting from Monday 1 July 2024, the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum introduces a new ticketing offer with on-demand passes aimed at families, young people and individual visitors. This initiative aims to build public loyalty and make participation in the Park’s activities simpler and more accessible by offering open tickets valid for an entire year.

The annual pass, particularly suitable for local residents and tourists, will be available in three different card types:

– ErcolanoCard: for individual visitors, at a cost of 30 euros, valid for one person.
– ErcolanoCardFamily: for two adults and accompanied minors, at a cost of 58 euros.
– ErcolanoCardYoung: for young people between 18 and 25 years old, at a cost of 5 euros.

All subscriptions will be valid for 365 days from first use. Subscriptions purchased before June 30th will remain valid until their natural expiration. With the recent expansion of the Antiquarium exhibition area and the opening of the Ancient Beach, which returned 3000 square meters of usable space to the public, the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum has expanded the itineraries and the visit offer. From July 1st, the new admission ticket prices will be:

– Full price: 16 euros.
– Reduced price for young people (18-25 years): 2 euros.
– Access to the Ancient Theater: 5 euros.
– Integrated Park and Ancient Theater ticket: 19 euros.

Furthermore, the catalog of CoopCulture’s 2023/2024 educational offer for schools is available online, which integrates study programs with contemporary themes and new inclusive formats. “Herculaneum is all year round! This is the intent with which we thought of a single ticket that allows access to the Park for 365 days”declared the director Francesco Sirano.

“For an entire year, visitors will be able to participate in cyclical initiatives and annual innovations, in a showcase with a thousand facets and possibilities. Our attention is paid to the loyalty of fans through increasingly personalized and inclusive work.”

Meanwhile, the opening of the underground route of the Ancient Theater of the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum continues until the end of June. The visit, reserved for groups of 10 people, takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 09.30 to 16.30, with visits in English at 11.30 and 16.30. This tour offers a journey through time through the eighteenth-century tunnels, accompanied by Park staff. After a summer break in July and August, visits will resume in September.
