two appeals from the Flc Cgil accepted

BRINDISI – Following the sentences published between 28 May and 19 April 2024, the Flc Cgil Brindisi won the first two appeals it had promoted before the labor judge for the attribution of the teacher card bonus to temporary teachers.

About ten temporary teaching colleagues were awarded 500 euros, provided for by the bonus for training and refresher courses, for each of the years in which they had held fixed-term teaching positions.

“This is a great victory – we read in a note from the CGIL – which rewards our work as a union and that of the lawyers Marzia Bagnulo and Paolo Di Schiena”.

“The sentences, once again, have established an important right also for temporary teachers who are thus equal to permanent teachers for the bonus. Furthermore, they condemned the Ministry of Education and Merit to pay legal interest and reimburse litigation costs”: “The Flc Cgil Brindisi, with its activities and initiatives, confirms its attention to an idea of a school that can represent lifeblood and hope for future generations, to guarantee the fundamental and essential rights of workers, in line with what is defined in the Constitutional Charter”.
