CORIGLIANO-ROSSANO – Today, Saturday 22 June 2024, a day of institutional celebration can be felt in the atrium of Palazzo Bianchi in the historic center of Corigliano. The Mayor of Corigliano-Rossano Flavio Stasi and the elected councilors of both the majority and minority were officially proclaimed.
Once the council has acknowledged this, the council will immediately be appointed to continue with the “daily work”, a commitment which, in light of the enormous consensus received in this electoral round, represents, for all those elected, a responsibility and an greater duty towards the community, which has placed its trust and reliability for the second time in the government of Flavio Stasi.
In the next five years of the electoral mandate we will continue the path of relaunching the City, both in terms of institutional importance and improvement of living conditions. Above all – declares Mayor Flavio Stasi – the completion of a series of plans that will trace the path of the City of the future. Having a long breath will allow us to start those plans that are missing, that are too dated. We have a clear idea of the City in twenty, thirty, forty years: we have set it up with planning and major projects, now it must be concretized with planning, clearly continuing to intercept funding to improve the condition of our community”.
To realize the idea of the City, collaborative work is also needed by the opposition forces in the City Council. «I hope for a better approach than that of the last five years – comments Stasi – because in my opinion, on some common issues, we could have worked better together, however, from the beginning, there was an obstructive attitude, aimed at raising contradictions» .
