Mirkoeilcane, leaves from Trento “Contemporary music brings me down”

Rome, 20 June. (askanews) – Mirkoeilcane has announced the first dates of the summer tour which will start on June 21st from the Teatro Capovolto in Trento. After the presentations in Milan, Rome and Florence, Mirkoeilcane will travel across Italy to bring the songs from his new album live.

The artist will then stop on July 16th in Tolentino (MC) for the Beer Festival; on 4 August in Castelbasso (TE) for Castelbasso Borgo della Cultura; on 9 August Imperia for Unplugged Festival; on 10 August Roccadaspide (SA) for the Festival dell’Aspide and on 31 August Sinigo (BZ) for the Qui Festival.

“Contemporary music throws me down” is an album of ironic and elegant songwriting, twelve tracks capable of highlighting the writing skills of an artist who over the years has been able to make the word one of his best weapons, obtaining important recognitions such as the critics’ prize “Mia Martini” and the one for the best overall text “Sergio Bardotti” for the song “Stay all good”, presented in the Nuove Proposte section of the 68th Sanremo Festival, which was then followed by the Targa Tenco 2018 for the “Best Song”.

Artistically produced by Daniele Mafio Tortora, known for his work with artists such as Afterhours, Daniele Silvestri, Max Gazzè, Diodato and many others, the album sees the participation of two exceptional guests: Giobbe Covatta, in the song “Secondo Giobbe”, a sharp, funny and at the same time serious monologue on religion and its inconsistencies, and Daniele Silvestri, who in addition to taking part in the featuring in the song “Serie B” actively collaborated in the arrangements and co-production of the song “In balance”.
