On the occasion of the celebrations of Saint Peter and Paul, the administration agreed with Trenord and Tilo on special connecting runs with Luino.
“Luino celebrating” is in the starting blocks and the Municipality of Luino has organized with Trenord and Tilo /FFS special railway services which will be added to the scheduled trips to allow tourists and visitors to reach the city during the two-day celebration of the city’s patron saints.
Extraordinary trips will be carried out on the Gallarate-Luino and Bellinzona-Luino axis on the days and evenings of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June.

Trenord will make an extraordinary trip on the evening of Saturday 29th for the return from Luino to Gallarate; two races on the evening of Sunday 30th. The trips will be added to the connections already scheduled on the Luino-Gallarate-Milan connection.
To travel on board the extraordinary trains it will be necessary to purchase an ordinary ticket for the desired route on the Trenord website, on the App or in Trenord’s physical sales channels. It will also be possible to travel on extraordinary trains with a railway or integrated pass valid for the route towards Luino.

Departure from Luino (10.45pm) and arrival in Gallarate (11.34pm). Scheduled stops in Porto Valtravaglia (10.51pm), Caldè (10.54pm), Laveno Mombello (11.00pm), Sangiano (04.23.), Besozzo (10.23.), Travedona-Biandronno (11.14pm), Ternate-Varano Borghi (11.19pm), Mornago Cimbro (11.25pm) , Besnate (23.29).

Additional TILO/FFS connections. All special trains will stop at the stations served by the TILO S30 line.
On Saturday 29 June 2024 the first additional connection will depart from Bellinzona at 2.43pm and will reach Luino station at 3.35pm. For the return, on the night between Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June, an additional train will run, departing at 00:18 from Luino, with an expected arrival in Bellinzona at 01:04.
An additional connection will depart at 11.20pm from Luino on Sunday 30 June 2024, with arrival in Bellinzona expected at 00.06am.
