Aps me.dea has concluded another year of workshops in schools with the aim of building a culture of gender equality and non-violence.

The school year that has just ended has once again seen the commitment of me.dea anti-violence center in schools of the Alessandria territory, with the aim of building a culture of gender equality and non-violence, starting from the new generations and in particular from the youngest students.

One of the novelties of the new edition of a project dedicated to raising awareness against violence consisted, in fact, in the decision to address this training proposal for the first time to Primary School. The project, as always, was financed by Presidency of the Council of MinistersEqual Opportunities Departmentin collaboration with Piemonte region.

#SAVE2 – this is the title of the project – was divided into several training courses aimed in parallel at students and teachers of 4 schools of the territory for a total of 13 classes involved and their teachers: State Industrial Technical Institute ITIS Alessandro Volta of Alessandria, Higher Institutes “Leardi” And “For. To the” of Casale Monferrato and Comprehensive Institute “Francesco Negri” also from Casale Monferrato.
Also interested Guardian Angel School of Alessandria with a plenary meeting. Overall the project involved 360 students And 60 teachers.

As in 2023, this year too participation in the workshops was numerous and very active, confirming an important educational and training need.
