Yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 19 June 2024, the Treviso Police Commissioner, Manuela De Bernardinissued a provision daspo lasting two years towards a 25 year old from Trevisoknown by the DIGOS fan team as ultras of the local football team.

Last June 15, in the hours before the Italy-Albania match of the European Championships, the young man was in fact stopped and identified by the Dortmund police together with another 66 fans of the Italian national team which, misrepresented and armed with rods, screwdrivers and knives, they were preparing to clash with the Albanian fans.

Only thanks to the timely intervention of the Italian State Police personnel present on site with specialized personnel from the Central Directorate of Prevention Police – UCIGOS, was it possible to stop the large group of ultras and ascertain their identity.

Through international police cooperation channels, the Treviso Police Headquarters immediately acquired the documents relating to the incident and the responsibility of the 25-year-old, reported by the German police for carrying a knife, allowing the Police Commissioner to issue a disqualification order against the Treviso fan. to attend sporting events also valid abroad.

The provision was notified yesterday evening by DIGOS in order to prevent the young man from traveling to Germany for the next matches of the UEFA Euro 2024 European championships.
