From 5 to 8 September the fortieth edition of the San Giuseppe neighborhood festival promoted by the Noi il neighbourhood association together with the consultancy. Four days of appointments, events, music and games that they should have had the garden of the civic center on Via Silva in Monza as their fulcrum. They would have, precisely, why it is unlikely that the area will be open and usable in time for the party.

From one year the neighborhood, the citizens and the council they wait Of see the start of work to restore the roof of the civic center, destroyed by the storms that hit the city a July 2023. «Our goal was to be able to celebrate the forty years of the neighborhood festival, which is the only moment of aggregation during the year for the inhabitants of San Giuseppe, right in the garden of the civic center of Via Silva and instead we will have to rethink the spaces» they say from the neighborhood.
This too will be discussed during the public assembly promoted by the San Carlo San Giuseppe consulta which will be held on 25 Juneat 9pm, in the hall of the civic center of San Rocco, in which the councilor for public works, Marco Lamperti, will participate.

Meanwhile, preparations for the four days of neighborhood celebrations continue, coordinated by Paola Riva, of the Noi il neighbourhood association and member of the council. We will begin Thursday 5 September with the concert of the youth bands and then on Friday the burraco tournament and on Saturday with music, cabaret and the show of the dancing and illuminated water fountains. Sunday 8 September workshops for children, dog agility demonstrations, a magic show and the possibility of stamping your bike for free.

However, there was not only the next neighborhood party on the agenda of the consultation meeting which took place on 18 June. We talked also of lighting and dangers of some pedestrian crossings. Many reports were collected by members of the consultation, such as the one regarding the beginning of Via Guerrazzi, which has been in the dark for months. Also in this section, at the intersection with via Borgazzi the sign indicates a particularly dangerous pedestrian crossing. The green light for pedestrians, in fact, comes on at the same time as the green light for cars arriving from via Borgazzi and turning right onto via Guerrazzi: «A sign is needed to indicate that pedestrians are crossingthe”. The proposal put forward is to differentiate the green for pedestrians from that for cars.
Poor lighting problems are also reported in via Romagna, where the new LED lamps are not very effective, and again in via Lazio where the foliage of the trees envelop the street lamps, making the street dark.
