4.40pm – Jannik Sinner won his first match as world no.1, coming from behind to beat Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor in the tournament in Halle, Germany. The Italian lost the first set at the tie break, then won the next two, with a score of 6-3, 6-2, qualifying for the round of 16.

The Sanremo comeback beat the Frenchman Ugo Humbert in the first round of the Queens tournament, prevailing over his opponent with a score of 3-6, 6-1, 7-6. In the next round, Arnaldi will face the Australian Rinky Hijikata, number 98, who beat him in the only direct match in Delray Beach this year.
3.30pm – Lorenzo Musetti won his debut match at the Queens tournament, an appointment on the London grass in preparation for Wimbledon, beating the world number 7 and second seed, the Australian Alex De Minaur, 2-1.
