Renewable Energy Communities: Four free webinars

Grosseto. Renewable energy communities at the start: after the publication of the implementing decrees and operational rules, the Cers have entered the accreditation and start-up phase of energy production and, together with other actions, the Chamber of Commerce of the Maremma and the Tyrrhenian Sea supports businesses towards the ecological transition.

Training

The Chamber of Commerce of the Maremma and the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan chamber of commerce system, with the support of the regional resource recovery agency, organize ‘L’estate delle Cer’: four new free online webinars scheduled for 20 and 27 June and 4 and 11 July.

The meetings will be dedicated to energy communities and configurations for widespread self-consumption, offering an in-depth analysis of the most relevant management and procedural aspects for all parties interested in participating in or starting a Cer. The initiative is part of the Energy transition project 2024-2025, which aims to increase the awareness of companies and stakeholders in the areas of ecological transition, energy efficiency and the development of renewable energy communities.

First appointment entitled ‘Renewable energy communities: where are we at?’ Thursday 20 June from 4pm to 6pm. The webinar will offer an update on the implementation framework of the Cers, through a mapping of the projects in Tuscany and a summary of the latest regulatory news; Furthermore, some of the best practices adopted to set up, design and manage an energy community will be analysed.

Energy transition

On the subject of environmental sustainability, the Maremma and Tyrrhenian Chamber of Commerce also has further initiatives underway in favor of businesses. Among these we remember the Energy transition call, which plans to provide businesses with up to 2,500 euros as a non-refundable grant for consultancy and training for the planning of energy efficiency interventions and participation in renewable energy communities. Furthermore, it remains active Energy Deska free information service from the Chamber of Commerce dedicated to all businesses in the Grosseto and Livorno area to provide technical assistance and consultancy on energy efficiency and energy saving issues.
