Foligno, called a new public meeting on the southern variant

The comparisons continue. In fact, a public meeting organized by the “Southern Variation Committee without secrets” is scheduled for Tuesday 18 June, a few days after the ballot. A meeting on the evaluation of the social and environmental impact of the work, to which all citizens are invited, to analyze and evaluate the preliminary project of the work, and which will see present – according to what emerges – the two candidates running for the job mayor, namely Stefano Zuccarini and Mauro Masciotti.

The meeting will be introduced by Luigi Casini and Francesco Piermarini, both spokespersons for the Committee, while the journalist Roberto Conticelli, former president of the Order of Journalists of Umbria, will lead the meeting. Speakers will then include Francesco Bartoli, secretary of the Council for sustainable mobility, the environment and road safety of the city of Foligno, the sociologist Roberto Segatori, but also Professor Alfonso Russi, professor of environmental sustainability at the University of Camerino and expert of environmental impact assessment, and Alessandro Petruzzi, president of Federconsumatori.

The match will take place in the Cave sports facilities at 9pm next Tuesday. Local and regional administrators and mayors of neighboring municipalities are also invited to participate.
