today the first public meeting with Leccese and Laforgia

Vito Leccese and Michele Laforgia, respectively former mayoral candidate and aspiring mayor of Bari for the center-left, have started a technical table with the aim of defining a common program to govern the city in the coming years. This initiative represents a novelty in the local political panorama, preparing for the run-off against Fabio Romito on 23 and 24 June.

The first meeting of the technical table was held recently, during which the current challenges of Bari’s urban development and potential avenues for improvement in the near future were discussed. The first proposals that emerged will be illustrated during a public meeting scheduled for today, Monday 17 June, at the Officina degli Esordi. The assembly will begin at 6.00 pm and will see the direct participation of Vito Leccese and Michele Laforgia.

According to what was declared by the two candidates, the technical table will focus on defining the first measures of the future administration, continuing the discussion on the programs and working together to outline the programmatic lines of Vito Leccese’s mandate as Mayor of Bari.

The initiative represents a significant step towards building a united front within the centre-left, aiming to consolidate a shared program and address the city’s urban challenges with a clear and coordinated vision
